Anne Julia Hagen is Miss Germany 2010!

Miss Berlin Anne Julia Hagen was crowned as the new Miss Germany. The 19 year-old beauty beat 21 other contestants during the national finals held at the Dome in Europa Park. Albana Nocaj became the Vize-Miss Germany, while Reingard Hagemann took the 3rd Miss Germany position. The Miss Germany Corporation is currently applying for the Miss Earth license.

Anne Julia Hagen, die 19-jährige Blondine aus Berlin konnte die VIP-Jury bei der Wahl der Miss Germany 2010 am Samstag, 13. Februar mit ihrer charmanten Art überzeugen. Die Wahl fand bereits zum 8. Mal im Dome des Europa-Parks in Rust statt. Mit strahlenden Augen und zu Tränen gerührt nahm Anne Julia die Krone und die Schärpe von Miss Germany 2009 Doris Schmidts entgegen. 

Moderiert wurde die Endgala von der ehemaligen Miss Germany & Queen of the World Ines Kuba sowie dem bekannten TV-Moderator Alexander Mazza.

Nach zwei ausgefallenen Openings in Mode von Red Wave und Ed Hardy präsentierten sich die 22 Teilnehmerinnen den rund 900 Zuschauern und den über 200 Medienvertretern in wunderschönen Abendkleidern von Luxuar. Gleich darauf folgte der 2. Wertungsdurchgang in Bademode von Anita. 8 Damen schafften es ins Finale, Anne Julia Hagen konnte sich schließlich gegen ihre hübschen Konkurrentinnen durchsetzen.

In der Jury saßen u.a.: Showlegende Dieter Thomas Heck, Sänger & Moderator Ross Antony, ehem. Fußballnationalspieler Giovane Elber, TV-Moderatorin Gundis Zambo, US-Sänger Marc Terenzi, Ex-Fußballmanager Rudi Assauer, Schauspieler Francisco Medina, internationales Model Monica Ivancan, Sat.1-Rechtsanwalt Ingo Lenßen, etc.

Ines Draganovic, 18, won the Miss Kongo za Miss Zemlje (Miss Earth Slovenia) 2010 crown at the Casino Kongo. She will be Slovenia's representative to 10th Miss Earth pageant. Sara Jurecic and Nermina Hankic were the 1st and 2nd runners-up, respectively.

Miss Earth candidates visit GA Xevera Mabalacat

MANILA, Philippines - Ten of the 80 Miss Earth candidates recently visited GA Xevera Mabalacat, a budding township from Globe Asiatique Realty and Holdings Corporation. The property features everything one looks for in a dream community: a school, church, town hall, wet and dry market, clubhouses, commercial areas, and an amusement park.

Suada Salig of Albania; Yan Xu of China; Jamilete Gaxiola of Cuba; Mariel Garcia of the Dominican Republic; Marlyne Ayene of Gabon; Takada Tomomi of Japan; Ayesha Gilani of Pakistan; Chanel Guantham of South Africa; Alexandra Echeverria Pedrajas of Spain; and Jessica Barboza of Venezuela, were welcomed by GA chief finance officer Dexter Lee and GA Entertainment Inc.’s Donny Elvina at the Felizcidade Amusement Park.

Clad in different national costumes, the students from Montessori De Xevera presented the candidates with beautiful leis. After a sumptuous breakfast, the beauties toured the different facilities of GA Xevera Mabalacat.

The development’s architectural design is inspired by Spain’s exuberant lifestyle. A grand fountain is located in the middle of the development. The candidates visited the Mabalacat Municipal town hall then proceeded to the fully air-conditioned church, which has a 600-person seating capacity and features stained-glass windows by artist Pancho Piano.

Next stop was the Doña Asuncion Lee Integrated School, which is run by ABS-CBN Foundation, in cooperation with DepEd. It holds 34 classrooms, science and computer laboratories, and a library. They also went to the residential area and checked out the model units. The candidates had a great time feeding fish at the lagoon in the commercial complex and participated in a tree-planting activity in the clubhouse.

Brazil Wins Miss Earth 2009

Brazil Wins Miss Earth 2009

Miss Brazil Larissa Ramos was crowned Miss Earth 2009. The competition was held at the Boracay Ecovillage Resort Convention Center, Philippines. She beat out 80 contestants. This is Brazil’s second win (the most) in the nine years history of the pageant.miss-brazil-2009-as-miss-earth-2009

The new Miss Earth beauty is a 19-year-old Biology student.

The rest of her court are Miss Philippines Sandra Seifert as Miss Air (First Runner-up), Miss Venezuela Jessica Barboza as Miss Water (Second Runner-up) and Miss Spain Alejandra Echevarria as Miss Fire (Third Runner-up).

Countries who made the rest of the top 16 are Thailand, Poland, Martinique, Colombia, France, Georgia, India, Korea, Northern Ireland, Paraguay, Singapore and South Africa.

Miss Earth 2010: Candidatas - Contestants

 

Miss Earth 2010, the 10th Miss Earth beauty pageant, will be held in a venue that is yet to be determined. About 80 contestants are expected to attend the pageant where Miss Earth 2009 will crown her successor at the end of the event that will be broadcast by ABS CBN and The Filipino Channel.
